Nature's mysterious puzzle 'Leslie'

नमस्कार मित्रो, आशा करता हूँ की आप सभी पाठक सकुशल होंगे, आज मैं आप लोगो को एक ऐसे इंसान की कहानी बताने जा रहा हूँ जिसको कुदरत से अभिशाप मिला था या वरदान, एक तरफ से उसे शारीरिक विकलांगता मिली तो दूसरी तरफ प्रकृति का एक ऐसा अदभुत वरदान मिला जिस से आज वो दुनिया के उन चुनिंदा नामो में शामिल हैं जिसमे इंसान खुद का नाम देखने के सपने देखता हैं।

जब विशेष प्रतिभावान चरितार्थ की हो तो उसमे लेस्ली लेम्के का नाम आना स्वाभाविक हैं। लेस्ली का जन्म अमेरिका में सन 1952 में हुआ और उसके जीवन के प्रारंभिक वर्ष अत्यंत कष्टप्रद रहे। लेस्ली को जन्मजाट ग्लूकोमा, सेरिब्रल पाल्सी और ब्रेन डेमेज था। जिसके कारण चिकित्सकों को उसकी आँखे निकालनी पड़ी। उसको जन्म देने वाली माँ ने उसे छोड़ दिया, पर एक सहृदय नर्स, मेरी लम्के ने उसे गोद ले लिया। मेरी के अपने पाँच बच्चें थे और उसकी आर्थिक दशा अच्छी नही थी, पर इसके बावजूद उसने लेस्ली का लालन-पालन सगी माँ से ज्यादा बढ़कर किया। लेस्ली स्वयं खाना खा पाने में सक्षम नही था और वो चलना भी 15 वर्ष की उम्र में सीख पाया, दृष्टिहीन तो वो पहले से ही था। इतने कष्टों के बावजूद एक दिन उसकी माँ ने पाया की थोड़ी देर पहले टेलीविजन पर जो संगीत बजा था उसे लेस्ली ने बिना किसी अभ्यास के एक बार में पियानो पर बजाकर बता दिया। उस समय लेस्ली 16 वर्ष का और जो संगीत उसने बजाया था वो प्रसिद्ध संगीतकार चेकोवस्की की सबसे कठिन कृति थी। लेस्ली की अदभूत प्रतिभा की ख्याति सब ओर फैलने लगी। कोई संगीत एक बार बजाया जाता ओर लेस्ली उसे दूसरे ही पल यथावत बजाकर सुना देता। एक विलक्षण, दृष्टिहीन संगीतकार के रूप में लेस्ली की प्रसिद्धि आज संसार के कोने-कोने में हैं, जबकि उसकी मानसिक आयु 8 वर्ष से ज्यादा बड़े बच्चें की नही थी। इसे प्रकृति की अबूझ पहेली ही तो कह सकते हैं।

Leslie had congenital glaucoma, cerebral palsy, and brain damage. Due to which doctors had to remove his eyes. The mother who gave birth to him left him, but a young nurse, Mary Lamke, adopted her. Mary had five children of her own and her financial condition was not good, but despite this she raised Leslie more than her mother. Leslie was not able to eat food himself, and he was able to walk even at the age of 15, he was already blind. Despite so much suffering, one day her mother found out that Leslie had told the music she had played on television a while back, playing on the piano in a bar without any practice. Leslie was 16 years old at the time and the music he played was one of the most difficult works of famous composer Chekowski. The fame of Leslie's amazing talent started spreading everywhere. Some music was played once, and Leslie would hear it the same moment. Leslie's fame as a quintessential, visually impaired musician is today in every corner of the world, even though his mental age was not more than 8 years old.
